I am grateful for my community at The Resolved Church. People in various stages of life formed by the Word and on mission with each other. As the Church we are called to be a disciple of Jesus and to make disciples of others. Here are a few verses that highlight what a disciple is: John 8:31 “If you abide in my word, you are my disciples.”, John 13:35 “All people will know you are my disciples if you have love for one another.” and John 15:8 “My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”
To fulfill this calling The men of The Resolved Church meet the first Thursday of the month at 0600 for breakfast at Perry’s Cafe near Old Town. During our time together we work through a book of the bible (currently Ephesians) and discuss what we are learning as disciples of Jesus and how this shapes us as leaders both at home and in our mission as the Church.
